R3 is currently closed and is NOT accepting drop-off
While we appreciate your recycling efforts, and want to assist our community, we are closed during quarantine.
While we are closed, any drop-off at our facility is considered dumping.
"Dumping" electronics is bad for the environment.
Electronics exposed to the elements will corrode. The run off will drain into the ground and harm our natural resources.
Our facility is only equipped to handle certain electronics.
When you dump things we are not equipped to recycle, we have to pay another facility to properly dispose of them correctly. A list of what we accept and don't accept is available HERE
San Marcos Residents: You can find city provided reycling/waste resources HERE or on the bottom of your utility bill.
Illegal dumping is a felony.
The facility is monitored and security cameras are in use. Dumping will be reported to SMPD.
Be Considerate.
As a local business we ask that you respect the situation. Once quarantine is over, we will continue regular hours and operations.
